This is a great post by Phil Miller on the Ontario Libertarian Party website so obviously I'm taking free literary licence and plagiarizing.
" Place the elderly in prisons. They will get a shower a day, video surveillance in case of problems, three meals a day, access to a library, computer, TV, gym.
Put criminals in nursery homes. They will have cold meals, lights off at 20h, one bath a week, live in a tiny room and pay $4000 a month!!
A society is measured by how it treats it's most vulnerable."
Perhaps we're living in that world described in Superman comics, where everything is exactly opposite the way it should be. AND I came to that conclusion, without evidence, and without a massive government grant! See, you too can contemplate the impossible!
