My friend Allen Small, a teacher in his former life, makes some good points about education.
With the advent of many different choices available to us via the internet the self service aspect is much more apparent to all of us.
Youth are huge users of social media. Why not integrate into the medium to streamline the system and create something more enjoyable than just memorizing facts by rote? Most of the great innovators in history were either enormously gifted at birth or self educated. The rest of us went through the 'formal' system.
Freedom is choice.
Or is that the problem?
Makes me wonder!
