Why?

How come all the parties concentrate on, in their released videos, are the perceived faults of the opposition? Apparently, according to someone who should know, emotion is the prime determining factor used by the electorate. Negative ads, scare tactics are nasty, BUT they work!

Why has it come to this, and how? Unfortunately this is the only system we have so why not keep

the politicians accountable after they gain office?

We can, if we want to, elect a government with conditions, that if they don't keep promises they forfeit their office. It's easy; they're out and then the second choice takes over. I don't imagine it would take too long for them to figure it out!

Better yet, why not take the time to read platforms and choose. While we still can!
