In my ongoing tweets and Facebook posts my position has been that the election and cable television have the same problem. A myriad of selections but no real choice!

The political parties' rhetoric is all different, but once elected, their actions are all the same.

But soon all the arguments are going to be moot anyway. We'll go electronic voting, the elected will be 'selected', 'by us' and the results will one day be mistakenly released before the end of the election. Then the farce of a fair and equal decision of the electorate will be finally laid bare for all to see.
