Towards liberty in Toronto?

In my neck of the woods, the GTA, greater Toronto area, Mississauga mayor Hazel McCallion is a public figure to be reckoned with. She almost single handedly went against the Premier of Ontario when they decided to amalgamate municipalities into regional entities. The purpose?
To streamline services and cut costs! The result? Less choice and another of obstructive level of costly government.
Recently a new mayor has been elected that has the potential of Hazel; Rob Ford, in Toronto. The leftist lobby is going nuts because all their sacred cash cows are under scrutiny and possible cost cutting, or, elimination.
He ran, and won, handily, on the platform of 'trimming the fat' and ending corruption. hopefully he can and will do both! For all our sakes!
Hazel's legacy as mayor? No one dares run against her! It's a waste of time and money.
